3 bikes 5 hours 250 miles
SDG celebrated our 30th year in business in 2020 and decided as a team that we wanted to start giving back to our local communities.
Annually we choose 2 charities to raise money for by holding regular fundraising events. Since 2021 our staff have been fundraising for two Northern Ireland charities, Air Ambulance and Cancer Fund for Children, to date we have raised £7,500 of our £10,000 target – £5,000 for each charity. On the 29th July 2022, we are planning the first-ever SDG Spinathon!
3 bikes 5 hours 250 miles – no problem…
We want to secure the final push for our chosen charities through our Spinathon fundraising event to be held here on-site at our Head Office outside Armagh in Tullygoonigan Industrial Estate.
We are inviting suppliers, customers, local businesses and anyone who would like to take part, to come along, cheer us on or jump on a bike for charity.
We are asking everyone to take part, from making a donation, coming along to cheer the riders on, or jumping on a bike for half an hour to help us reach our target of 250 miles. A number of bikes will be in operation on the day, with spin slots available from 9.30am-3.30pm.
Representatives of both charities Air Ambulance and Cancer Fund for Children will join us on the day, we are excited for a fun day, with friends, raising money for good causes.
There may even be a bacon buttie and a cuppa for all participants, as well as plenty of refreshments on the day. So please come along and join the SDG team and have some fun along the way.
