PROJECT SUMMARY
Adare Manor underwent an 18-month refurbishment in 2015, re-opening in November 2017. Local Architect firm, Healy Partners were responsible for the Adare Manor – refurbishment works, along with Reardon Smith.
THE CHALLENGE
SDG were contacted by our client Castle Ceilings to provide a solution for the architect, Healy Partners. A Rotunda ceiling was designed by the architect.
OUR SOLUTION
An initial design was completed, and multiple design meetings were carried out with Castle Ceilings and Healy Partners to ensure the product met the client’s expectations.
THE RESULTS
A bespoke preformed rotunda was manufactured and shipped directly to site by our Partners Vogl.
Advantages include:
- Moulded components designed to individual requests
- Time and cost-saving installation thanks to a high degree of prefabrication
- Easy installation and processing
- Lightweight
- Moulded components of fibre-reinforced gypsum are non-combustible (material class A1)
